On Tuesday, 14th October, something really special happened. After 1.5 years of planning in private, I finally got to share my children’s book Put Can’t in Your Pocket and Pull Out Try with the world – and what a launch it was!

We held the event at Niche Café in Wells, and from the moment the doors opened the atmosphere was buzzing.

About the book

For those who haven’t heard the story yet – Put Can’t in Your Pocket and Pull Out Try is a true story with a simple but powerful message: when things feel tough, don’t let “can’t” stop you from trying. It’s dedicated to Anne Wintersgill, and was brought to life through the amazing words and illustrations created with Alex Winstanley and the Happy Smiles Training team.

A huge thank you

To Nan, and my entire family. To Alex and the team at Happy Smiles, thank you for your creativity and support in creating the book. To Niche Café for hosting the launch. And to every single person who came along to celebrate the launch – your support means everything.

What’s next?

The best part is that this is only the beginning. I hope to get this book into schools, and I can’t wait for children (and grown-ups too) to read the book, share it with friends, and carry its message forward.

Copies of the book are now available here:
