Josh Wintersgill
Josh WintersgillFounder and Director
Josh was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy – Type 3 shortly after birth. Josh has spent 20 years in a powered chair. Frustrated by lack of accessibility and ability to explore with greater freedom, dignity and safety, Josh founded Able Move in 2018.

He spends a lot of his spare time improving the aviation industry for disabled people. Josh also supports various charities nationally and globally. He is also a keen air rifle shooter hoping to compete for Great Britain in the Paralympics.

Charlotte met Josh at university when studying IT management and business and they have been friends ever since. She has many years experience in customer service and operations, delivering on customer requirements.

Since meeting Josh, Charlotte has felt very strongly about the challenges faced by disabled people on a day to day basis and is extremely passionate about making a difference to the disabled community.

Lorraine Hudson
Lorraine HudsonExecutive Assistant/Machinist
Lorraine worked for a well know mobile company in software support for 16 years, and after being made redundant decided to revisit her passion for caring for people. She met Josh Wintersgill a few years later. With her unique skill set, Lorraine began to work for Josh on a permanent basis and loves creating products for safety and comfort to inspire disabled people to explore and experience their dreams.
Lizzie Martens
Lizzie MartensMarketing Assistant
Lizzie has worked in journalism and marketing for more than 20 years after obtaining a Masters degree in Multi-Media Journalism. She has spent much of her career working overseas including working as a travel journalist in Sydney. Lizzie has also spent many years championing disability rights through her work in the third sector. Lizzie now lives in Gloucestershire with her three boys and assortment of animals and spends much of her free time sharing her love of travel with her children.
